The results are in...

and four hours after the fact I feel relieved and satisfied with my performance on the GRE.  A slight twinge of disappointment rode with me off and on during the ride home because my initial reaction to my score on the verbal was that I could have done better.  And on goes the life of a perfectionist.  I wasn't too worried about my score on the quantitative section because I'm not applying for a physics or engineering program.

Thankfully, my scores seem to be enough to get me solidly into the "look at me" pile...

GRE Section      Raw score      Overall %ile      Social Science %ile      Social Work %ile
Verbal                     630                     90                            87                                    96
Quant                      730                     83                            89                                    98

My ego wishes that it could have been in "witness" more; instead, I was immersed in the act nearly the whole time.  Which was fine until I had moments of minor panic during the quant section when several questions in a row were a challenge.  A few times I had to force myself to just guess and move on because the clock was ticking.  THAT always inspires confidence!

Next on the agenda:  Social Psychology II starts at Portland State tonight.  I'm actually excited.  The GRE is done, and a new term starts.  Whee.
