Melissa and I had a whirlwind trip last week that I am just now recovering from. We flew into Chicago, drove to Ann Arbor, MI where I visited U-M and also met her dad and step-mom. Then we drove through Canada to Niagara Falls, NY, where I spent my adolescent years (oh, the joy). My entire maternal family resides there, so Melissa met them for the first time. I also got to see a couple of good friends from high school. We drove back to AA for a day, then back to Chicago. All in 8 days. Crazy times. Photos...
The water tower at night in Chicago

Oyster shooters at a sushi bar an hour earlier. Those were the fanciest shooters I've ever had the pleasure of sliding down my throat.

Ann Arbor Arboretum view of the Huron river, just north of U-M, where we went for a wonderful walk.

Me at U-M just after Melissa and I played a hilarious game of "spin the cube."
